My culinary journey kicked off back in 2005 when I landed a job at a café in Mildura, under the tutelage of the renowned Italian chef Stefano De Pieri. Back then, I was a novice, knowing little about Italian cuisine or culture. However, working alongside Stefano, I quickly absorbed the essence of Italian cooking and lifestyle. There's something incredibly special about the rustic, homestyle approach to cooking that resonated with me deeply. For me, there's no greater joy than gathering around a table with loved ones, sharing an array of meticulously prepared dishes.

During my time in Mildura, Fasta Pasta became a beloved haunt. I remember poring over their extensive pasta menu, eagerly selecting a different dish with each visit. That experience ignited a fire within me, propelling me to explore various roles in cafes, restaurants, and even a bakery, where I honed my skills in crafting exquisite cakes, pies, pastries, and sweets.

From the moment I first stepped foot into Fasta Pasta, a dream began to take shape—a dream of opening my own version of a rustic-style restaurant. I envisioned a place where the aroma of freshly brewed coffee permeates the air, where guests can indulge in comforting pasta dishes, and where every visit feels like coming home. And, of course, I couldn't resist incorporating my love for creating custom cakes into the mix.
